In the sixth episode of the season, Eric spends some time in the quaint dwelling of The Eugenia, a Colonial-theme hotel in the heart of Bangkok city. He focuses on the Anglo-centric design and decor of the hotel, and provides viewers with do-it-yourself ideas and tips.

This week Eric brings us The Eugenia, a Colonial boutique hotel that is quaintly decorated and furnished by its owner. Situated in the heart of Bangkok city, The Eugenia is from the Relais and Chateaux chain which features well known boutique hotels and dining establishments that stretches across the world.
With a distinguished private and personalized interior, The Eugenia features the owners' own private collection of home décor, harvested over time from Britain, India, Indo-China and even Africa. This hotel also boasts an award winning restaurant called D.B Bradley restaurant which is one of the popular luxurious dine outs in central Bangkok.
With only 12 suites, each of them is appointed with antique furniture and fittings. There are four types of suites namely Eugenia, Sawasdee, Wattana and Siam Suite; all tastefully designed, featuring high ceilings and unique decoration that reflects a 19th century style.
In this episode, Eric explains how simple wooden shutter windows can bring out the traditional colonial feel in a room. He also suggests that having a 4-poster bed is one of the key features of a colonial theme.
